General Description
The Teccor Elec tronics , I nc. line of sensiti ve S CR sem iconduc-
tors are half-wave unidirectional gate-controlle d rectifiers (SCR -
thyristor) which complem ent Teccor's line of power SCRs. This
group of packages offers ratings of 0 .8-10 amps, and 50-600
volts wit h gate sensitivities of 12-500 microamps. If gat e currents
in the 10-50 milliamp ranges are re quired, ple ase consult Tec-
cor's non-sensitive SCR technical data sheet s.
Electrical ly Isolated Packages
This group of Teccor sensitive SCRs is a vailable in a choice of
three different product packages. The TO-220AB and TO-92 are
electr ical ly isolated where t he case or tab is interna lly isolated to
allow the use of low cost assem bly and convenient packaging
techniques.
Glass Passivation
Teccor' s line of SCRs feature s g lass -passiva ted junctions to
ensure long te rm device reliabil ity an d param eter stabil ity. Tec-
cor's glas s offers a rugged, r eli able barrier agai nst junction con-
tamination.
Tape-and-reel packaging i s avail able for the TO-92 package.
