are available as either a cost-optimized dual-band solution, the Aero4209, or

requiring an EDGE air interface. Aero EDGE transceivers have proven their reliability and stability
worldwide in almost 100 million handsets. Aero EDGE transceivers deliver world-class performance
with low power consumption in the smallest form factor and lowest bill of materials in the industry.
The novel dual transmit architecture of the Aero EDGE enables 8PSK transmit modulation without
degrading performance in GMSK mode.
The Aero EDGE family was designed for ease-of-use and ease-of-manufacture which enables
a faster time-to-market. The third generation of Aero EDGE transceivers is available with either an
analog I/Q baseband interface, the Aero4223, or an industry-standard DigRF interface, the Aero4213.


applications requiring a 3G air interface. Aero HSPA transceivers deliver world-class performance
with low power consumption in the smallest form factor and lowest bill of materials in the industry.
The Aero HSPA transceivers combine the industry proven Aero EDGE transceiver technology with a novel
WCDMA transceiver technology that includes integrated LNAs and eliminates the need for external
SAW filters.
The Aero HSPA family was designed for ease-of-use and ease-of-manufacture which
enables a faster time-to-market. Aero HSPA transceivers are available with either an analog I/Q
baseband interface, the Aero4229, or an industry-standard DigRF 2G baseband interface combined
with an analog I/Q WCDMA baseband interface, the Aero4228. The Aero4228 and Aero4229 both support
quad-band EDGE and tri-band HSPA operation.


The Aero4260 extends Aero HSPA transceiver technology to TD-HSPA. The Aero4260 delivers
world-class performance with low power consumption in the smallest form factor and lowest bill of
materials in the industry. The Aero4260 is a single-chip transceiver for dual-band TD-HSPA that includes
integrated LNAs and eliminates the need for external transmit SAW filters. Dual on-chip frequency
synthesizers enable fast switching between time slots enabling R3/T4 inter-frequency handover.
The Aero4260 was designed for ease-of-use and ease-of-manufacture that enables a faster
time-to-market. The Aero4260 provides an industry-standard 10-bit parallel digital I/Q baseband
interface.
