Broad Selection of Pressure Ranges
The Model 2-40 Pressure Transducer is designed for use in a
variety of applications where accurate, reliable, high-pressure
measurement is required.
The 2-40 Pressure T ransducer ultilizes a Ni-Span-C helical
bourdon tube to drive a contact wiper across a precisely
wound resistance element creating a voltage divider that can
provide an electrical output directly proportional to the
pressure applied.
The 2-40 is designed to survive and operate in aviation,
spacecraft and industrial environments of high shock,
vibration, rough handling and hostile fluids.
The 2-40 is a rugged, mature pressure transducer that is
currently in service in a variety of business, commuter , and
pleasure aircraft, and commercial research spacecraft as well
as automated assembly control systems, downhole
oil well, water filtration and treatment systems.
The 2-40 has also served as the basis for a variety of
unique custom configurations requiring special mounting
and installation, electrical connections and pressure fittings.
